Giving Circles

By making a gift through the MSV Giving Circle Program, you provide critical financial support for the museum's annual educational programming.   All Giving Circle participants will receive a complimentary Donor Level Membership, an invitation to an annual Giving Circles educational program, and special recognition in the Annual Report.  Giving Circle Levels include:

•  Timber Frame Circle ($500)
    Tax deduction $450
•  Shenandoah River Circle ($1,000)
    Tax deduction $950
•  Glen Burnie Circle ($2,500)
    Tax deduction $2,450

 

The Compass Society

Compass Society donors help this museum present the educational programming that is associated with a preeminent regional museum facility.  Please consider making this leadership investment in the museum's future.  In addition to the tokens of appreciation granted to Giving Circles as listed above, Compass Society donors also receive special curators' and behind-the-scenes tours, private sneak previews, and reserved seating at museum programs.  The significant tax deductions at these levels will be announced with each year's program specifics.  Compass Society levels include:

• Julian Wood Glass Jr. Circle ($5,000)
• MSV Circle ($10,000)
• Cornerstone Circle ($20,000)
• Col. James Wood Circle ($50,000)
  

What's the difference between Membership and Giving Circles?  Members and Giving Circle donors receive many wonderful benefits in return, including unlimited free museum admission for an entire year.  In addition to receiving these Membership benefits, Giving Circle donors receive something even more important:  the good feeling of knowing that their gift provides crucial extra support for this museum's year-round educational programming.  No matter which decision is right for you - Member or Giving Circle donor - the museum thanks you for being part of its exciting family!
