Admission is not required to shop in the Museum Store or dine in the Tea Room Café.

The MSV campus includes three components: The Glen Burnie Historic House, six acres of gardens surrounding the historic house, and the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley. A variety of ticket options are available. You can purchase a combination ticket to tour the entire site or purchase tickets for touring just the house and gardens or the Museum.

The house and gardens are open seasonally March through November and the Museum is open year-round. All are open Tuesday-Sunday and are closed Monday. In addition to the standard Monday closings, the Museum will be closed on the following days:

  •  Thursday, November 25, 2010 
  •  Friday, December 24, 2010
  •  Saturday, December 25, 2010
  •  Saturday, January 1, 2011
